Position Purpose

The Operations Supervisor will oversee and manage production teams to ensure timely completion of immigration cases. Their attention to detail and ability to work under pressure contribute to the firm's success in serving clients effectively.

 

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

·     Lead initiatives to support teams in meeting firm quality and output targets and case submission goals.

·  Lead multiple groups to uniformity of processes, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures through leadership of Group Leads (GL) and Team Leads (TL).

·   Lead multiple sections in implementing and tracking KPIs –Key Performance Indicators, including production, quality, and process time metrics.

·       Lead multiple groups through continuous improvement efforts

·       Create and maintain SOPs to increase process stability and knowledge retention

·       Serve as a stakeholder for Project Managers assigned to your section

·       Support the creation and stabilization of projects

·       Support multiple sections in reaching TL review targets

·       Provide relief for GLs/TLs as needed

·       Train and develop new GL/TL and upkeep training materials

·   Handle HR issues for GL (performance improvement plans, time-off requests, feedback reviews, timecard reviews).

·       Expose hiring needs, capacity issues, and support recruiting

·       Maintain daily huddles with GLs and ensure GLs are having daily huddles with TLs and raising issues.

·       Applies operational skills to resolve complex problems independently

·       Assist Operations leadership with assigned tasks/projects (as needed)

 

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

·       5-8 years of previous experience or bachelor's degree or HS Diploma/GED

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Outlook

·       High level of interpersonal communication skills across many social levels and cultures

·       Must have good time management and organization skills

·       High English proficiency required

·       LEAN manufacturing training preferred

 

Reporting Relationship

·             Operations Group Leaders
