Position Purpose 

The Legal Clerk performs multiple administrative tasks to support the 
paralegal team and Office manager with the physical aspects of the case flow that 
occur on a daily basis. 

 

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities 

  1. Print cases for the attorney to review, tab for signature, and coordinate any 
    corrections needed 

  1. Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing mail 

  1. System client updates including notifying of case submission, case receipts, other 
    documents received from USCIS, case update letters, etc. 

  1. Preparing and sending out a high volume of welcome packets in a timely 
    fashion 

  1. Manage clientsfingerprints and outgoing FBI and FOIA requests (no 
    specific prior experience required as we will train on these aspects) 

  1. Assist with filing, copying, other administrative tasks

  1. Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  1. Ability to work independently and proactively 

  1. Computer skills (Typing - MS Word and MS Excel, Document Management 
    - DropBox, Email - MS Outlook) 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  1. 1-3 years of administrative assistant experience with previous 
    experience in a Law Firm a plus. 

  1. Fluency in Spanish is not needed, but it is a plus 

 

Schedule: 5:00PM-2:00AM EST

Pay Rate: $5.50/hr
