We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of IT Operations and Infrastructure to oversee our enterprise cloud services, networking, security, employee IT support, and governance and compliance initiatives.

Position Overview

The Director of IT Operations and Infrastructure will lead a team responsible for maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of performance, security, and efficiency. This role will oversee enterprise cloud services, networking, security, IT support, endpoint management, and compliance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in IT operations, cloud services, security best practices, and enterprise-level IT management.

Key Responsibilities

IT Operations & Infrastructure Management

  • Lead and oversee IT infrastructure across 12 office locations, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Manage enterprise cloud services, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, RingCentral, and other SaaS platforms.
  • Develop and implement strategies for device and endpoint management, ensuring secure and efficient IT operations.
  • Oversee networking and security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, VNETs and wireless networks.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to align IT operations with business objectives.

Cloud & SaaS Management

  • Optimize and manage cloud environments, including Azure and SaaS applications.
  • Ensure the seamless operation of Microsoft 365, RingCentral, and other key business applications.
  • Drive cloud security best practices, identity management, and access controls.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to optimize cloud services and costs.

Networking & Security

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of a secure and resilient network infrastructure.
  • Lead cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Monitor and manage network security policies, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure operational resilience.

Employee IT Support & Endpoint Management

  • Manage the IT support team to provide high-quality technical support to employees across all locations.
  • Develop and maintain IT service desk processes and performance metrics.
  • Oversee endpoint device management, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and software deployment.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance user experience and productivity.

Governance, Compliance, & Risk Management

  • Ensure IT policies and controls align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Lead governance and compliance initiatives related to data protection, security, and IT risk management.
  • Monitor IT operations for compliance with SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, or other applicable regulatory frameworks.
  • Establish and maintain IT asset management policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT operations and infrastructure management, including leadership roles.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, RingCentral, and other enterprise cloud platforms.
  • Proven experience managing networking, security, and IT support functions across multiple locations.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, endpoint management, and IT service management (ITSM) platforms.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
