, ,Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer / Administrator to join our growing IT team. This individual will report directly to the Cloud Solution Architect and will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our Azure DevOps environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our large Application Development and Data Engineering teams to build, enhance, and administer DevOps processes, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of applications and data solutions. Additionally, the role will involve integrating Copado with Azure DevOps to support our Salesforce team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Azure DevOps environments, including pipelines, repositories, and related services.
- Collaborate with Application Development, Data Engineering, and Salesforce teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure security, compliance, and best practices within Azure DevOps.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize DevOps workflows.
- Assist in the deployment, integration, and configuration of new tools and technologies within Azure DevOps.
- Implement and manage Copado integration with Azure DevOps for Salesforce team support.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting and Azure DevOps features.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development, data, and Salesforce teams.
- Implement version control, branching strategies, and release management best practices.
- Manage user permissions and roles within Azure DevOps.
- Stay up-to-date with Azure services, DevOps trends, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Azure DevOps Engineering/Administration.
- Strong understanding of Azure DevOps tools and services, including pipelines, repos, artifacts, and boards.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline creation, management, and optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, YAML, etc.).
- Experience supporting large application development, data engineering, and Salesforce teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Copado integration and Salesforce DevOps processes.
- Knowledge of security practices in cloud and DevOps environments.
