Position Purpose

 

Support Specialist Team Lead will oversee and guide a group responsible for managing Forms, Documents, Assembly, and Declaration and Forms Review tasks. This individual will act as a key point of contact for the team, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and driving team performance to meet deadlines and client expectations.

 

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, an in-depth understanding of the processes involved, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am to 6pm EST.

Payrate: $8/hr

 

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

 

·        Team Leadership and Supervision:

o   Lead and motivate team members to ensure high performance and engagement.

o   Manage team schedules, workload distribution, and coverage for smooth operations.

o   Provide guidance and support to team members in day-to-day tasks.

·        Operational Excellence:

o   Oversee the completion of Forms, Documents, Assembly, and Declaration and Form Review tasks.

o   Ensure the team meets accuracy, quality, and productivity targets.

o   Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to improve outcomes.

·        Collaboration and Communication:

o   Act as the main point of contact between the Support Specialist and other teams in the RFE Department.

o   Provide regular updates to the Production Supervisor on team progress and challenges.

o   Address escalations or process issues, ensuring timely resolutions.

·        Training and Development:

o   Identify skill gaps and provide training to enhance team capabilities.

o   Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions for feedback and support.

o   Develop growth opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

·        Process Improvement:

o   Identify inefficiencies in workflows and recommend process enhancements.

o   Participate in developing or refining standard operating procedures (SOPs).

 

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

 

·        Strong understanding of processes related to USCIS Forms and Document management.

·        Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the team produces accurate and high-quality work.

·        Organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

 

Minimum Qualifications

·        At least 1-2 years of experience in roles related to document processing, assembly, or review.

·        Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.

·           Prior experience in a legal or documentation-related field.

·           Familiarity with tools and software used in document assembly and review processes.

 

Reporting Relationship

 

This position will have 2-10 direct reports titled Support Specialist Team Members
